After going through all the specs on various computers this is the one I decided on. I searched Best Buy, Tiger Direct, etc.. and Amazon had the same exact computer for $50 less and I also have Amazon Prime so it was a win, win. I like how light the computer is, in the past I have travelled with a laptop and the weight was a big issue. I was trying to avoid buying a Windows 8 system but then I found the app called START 8 so I decided to try Windows 8. Start 8 makes your desktop identical to the old Windows 7 so I didn't waste any time going to Windows 8. System is fast, starts up very quick and screen is very clear. Keyboard is nice and responsive. I don't rarely use the touch pad so I can't rate how I like it. I also like the battery connection to the laptop. My old Toshiba had a loose connection right from the start and didn't like it. The battery life is also pretty good. If there is one thing I could change it would be a longer power cord, it could use an extra 2 ft. I would recommend this computer to others.

So far, I like this computer. It's my first laptop and it's super fast. I used and loved Microsoft Word for years, so Windows 8 is a challenge. However, the Windows 8 tutorial is helpful. Each use yields something new to learn.

As with all new toys, it takes getting used to. I recommend a stylus and keyfolio or other keyboard for improved productivity. Touch keyboard is kind of a pain, but what on screen keyboard isn't?
Great battery life. I unplug from 6:30 am until 5:30 pm and still have plenty of battery life.

I am loving my new latitude 10. Windows 8 I have found to be very easy to use. The only thing that is confusing is the game store and the Xbox are connected even if you don't have an Xbox I think. I have found that the internet work extremely well. So far I don't have much to complain about

Bought through Dell.com (but unable to 'review' it through their site).
First - Dell did not deliver on the specs they promised and are now not willing to make the changes to meet the agreed upon specs (despite having documented chat logs with their sales representative). Not happy with Dell's Customer Service.
I like Windows 8. It takes a bit to get used to as I have a non-windows phone and the gestures are a bit different but still very intuitive. It just takes a little time as any system requires.
Tablet - I thought a tablet was the way to go, but unless being used for media, the tablet is not very functional for work unless docked.
Hopefully Dell will give me full refund back and I will go with a PC convertible, probably well worth it despite the additional cost.

Most tablets are very limited to what they can do therefore that's why I give this tablet 4 stars. You do not buy a tablet because you want the power and ports that a laptop has... You give up size and weight for a comfortable compact screen... To expect a lot of ports and speed is like expecting a motorcycle to have the same luxury and speed as a car.
Good product , for what it is a "tablet". A better docking system maybe in order but so far ok
Maybe the problem the past reviews have is the seller ... Not dell... I have had nothing but incomparable customer support from dell when I purchased directly from them.

The tablet is great however when it was delivered it was missing the power adaptor. I have tried to contact Amazon and Dell and each says its the others problem. So, I have a Tablet that I cannot use because I dont have a power adaptor and neither company will provide me with one. Yes, I can purchase one but since I spent over 600 dollars on this Tablet it should have been in my order to begin with!

Arrived intact. Missing windows 8 product key. Dell customer support told me to call Microsoft. Useless product no customer help. They have hung up on me twice and have called me a liar, they asked me if I lived in Brazil. No wonder Dell are going belly up. No mini hdmi out. Do not buy.

So far so good...windows 8 is a bit frustrating. I don't like all my apps going thru Microsoft. Microsoft wants access to my Skype account. ..NO! Also McAfee craplet should not be allowed. I paid a premium price for MY computer yet McAfee is there uninvited. Note: If you give money to McAfee they will tell you you have a virus and squeeze you for $100s more to get rid of it. I personally found McAfee to be a scam.

Its a little bigger than i expected but I'm a big guy so this definitely wont be a problem, I have already opened it up and installed a 128Gb crucial mSata card and reloaded OS to that.
I would be carrying this around and was thinking that it might be too heavy but after getting it I don't see it as being a problem, it would go from the house to the car and from the car to another house so no subway or taxi or far walks. I saw someone complain about the touchpad but the sensitivity can be adjusted which makes it usable. I would advise anyone who is going to purchase to actually get their hands on a 17inch so they have an idea of the size or use some cardboard and rough out the dimensions.
If anyone has questions feel free to ask I would try to answer them best I can.

My main problem with this is that it was EXTREMELY creaky. Is read that on reviews and didn't listen. It's true. Windows RT is just fine for most people, so unless you absolutely need an old program and can't replace it with something from ythe store, don't let it scasre you away. I ended up returning this and getting a Surface RT which I love. It has great build quality, and better support. I can't recommend this.

The first Dell XPS10's Wi-Fi failed after a few hours of used the first day. Amazon was excellent about the return and sent me another XPS10. It also had its Wi-Fi fail after a few hours of the first day. I am returning it. I have wasted a lot of time setting up 2 machines and returning them through UPS. I have bought Dell for years, first problem ever. Maybe that is why Dell is in financial trouble?

Well I am pretty much satisfied with this touchscreen laptop, mostly its used to surf the web, socialife, some not so demmanind games etc.. I dont need that much of computing power, but it does bother me the lag when I try to open an application it takes like 5 seconds sometimes even more, I guess processor is not that fast, I should have done my homework to find out the most decent processor speed for win 8.
